The other day on the portal SOVAZ (System for evaluating the impact of legislative acts) was published a new procedure for admission to domestic universities, this bill was developed by presidential decree.

Let's break things down in order, what will be changed in 2019/2020 in the country's universities:

• Entrance exams will take place from July through August (formerly August);
• For applicants who graduated in previous years, there will be a fee of 1 MPH. By way of exception, orphans and persons with Group I and II disabilities will be subject to the fee. As for graduates of the current school year, the tests are free for them.
• Issuing a certificate to applicants who scored at least 30% of the maximum score according to the results of entrance examinations. With his help, the applicant will have the opportunity to study in a particular university, depending on the passing score.
• And finally, the tests in Uzbek and Karakalpak will be in Latin script only.

This bill may be amended, modified, or rejected.
